Before you embark on this great adventure, here are 7 essential things you should know about Bustronome :

1. Why choose Bustronome ?

Bustronome brought their successful venture from Paris to London a while ago, and it proved to be an instant hit. The level of quality and attention to detail is extraordinary, making the experience truly one of a kind.

If you're tired of the same old dining experiences or just looking for something fresh, Bustronome could be the solution. I was genuinely impressed by the design of the bus. From the moment you step on board, you're transported to a world of great food and panoramic city views, all under their impressive 360-degree glass roof.

Their bus is specifically designed to adapt to any road imperfections. You can enjoy your drinks and food  without worrying about spills or other accidents. They also provide a musical atmosphere, allowing guests to enjoy calm and ambient music while driving through the vibrant city of London.

2. What's included?

Bustronome's talented chefs curate a culinary adventure with 4 to 6 delectable courses, each one meticulously crafted to perfection. It's truly incredible how they manage to whip up such delicious food right there on the bus! These dishes are created using the best seasonal products available.

Their standard menu includes water and a hot drink. If you'd like to include alcoholic beverages, go for the second menu option, which includes 2 glasses of wine.

Each table is equipped with a map of London and the route, along with an audio pen. You can simply point the pen at the map to get information about the locations you've just passed.

3. Things you see while on the bus

The Lunch tour takes you through the heart of London. As you savor your meal, you'll also be savoring breathtaking views of Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Tower of London, London Eye, Piccadilly Circus and many more.

For those who opt for the Dinner tour, you're in for a treat that lasts an hour longer. This extended journey goes even further, guiding you through Hyde Park, Harrods, and the Royal Albert Hall. You'll get a taste of the city's luxurious side when you cruise in style through the elegant streets of Knightsbridge and Kensington.

4. Route and Timetable

Route map of the Bustronome double decker bus

They've got two different routes: one for lunch, kicking off at noon and running for about one hour and 45 minutes, and the other for dinner, starting later at 7 PM and lasting for 2 hours and 45 minutes. If you're worried about traffic, the evening tour might be smoother. The lunch one could end up taking longer if there's traffic or events, so the gap between them might not be as big as you'd expect.

The departure point for the tour can be found at Coach Bay 40B, Victoria Embankment, London, WC2N 6PB.

5. Things to consider

Bustronome tends to fill up fast, so it's a good idea to reserve your spot ahead of time. Just check the availability for when you want to go, and book your seats to avoid missing out.

It can get a bit chilly inside due to the air conditioning, so it's a good idea to bring an extra layer to stay comfortable during the tour.
